Mypot: 3D Design and Compositing for Plants

This project is surprisingly old, it’s been over two years since we worked on it, but for some reason, I forgot to make a post about it. The company manufactures systems for indoor or outdoor home gardens and large pots to grow your herbs and veggies.

Our process involved taking technical drawings or photos and transforming them into detailed 3D models that could be added to stock photos.

The project was massive, requiring 6 to 8 months of dedicated effort from our team of 3D modeling experts, designers, and compositors. Our goal was to bring these garden systems to life in a way that would captivate potential customers and bring the products to market.

Our biggest challenge was making the plants and composites look real in the final renders. 3D modeling and rendering is a complex and delicate process, and it can be challenging to achieve a level of realism that truly captures the essence of a product. Our team rose to the challenge, working tirelessly to ensure that every aspect of the 3D models was accurate, from the shape and size of the garden systems to the texture of the leaves and stems of the plants.

To further add to the realism of the renders, we sourced real plants from stock sites rather than modeling them from scratch. This allowed us to create more lifelike images and save time and resources compared to traditional 3D modeling methods.

If you're looking for a team that can bring your products to life through 3D rendering and compositing, look no further than our experienced and dedicated team. With a commitment to quality, attention to detail, and a passion for making things look as real as possible, we are confident that we can help you achieve your goals and bring your products to market with the impact they deserve.
